On March 16th, we partnered with Elfenworks and hosted the 2nd Annual Tiny Bronx Contest at Jimmy Ryan's in The Bronx. We had the tremendous help of Sweet Lou - Media Dude & Chris Golom, who did a truly incredible job of capturing the evening:

Tiny Bronx was born out of NPR Music's Tiny Desk Contest, which puts a call out for independent artists to submit their videos for a chance to play at their famous Tiny Desk. Last year, we realized this was a great way to show off some of the awesome talent we had right here in our Bronx (and beyond) music family, so we'd recruited our friends with this video, got our cameras & sound equipment ready, and hosted the first ever Tiny Bronx. It even made waves with NPR: For This Musical Community, The Tiny Desk Contest Was An Excuse to Reunite

Having learned a lot from that first year, we were able to improve on a few things in 2018. This time around, we live-streamed the entire event in 360 degree format on Facebook, attempted to improve the overall visual & audio quality, recruited more artists (with NPR's help) who covered an even more varied mix of genres, and provided a back-line for artists to do full-band sets if they wished.
